How are you liking the changes to the Cocoa Daisy blog?? I love the fresh look. Today I am with you to share the July Designer challenge. Your challenge is to include something stitched, something stamped, something wood and something round. You can scrap a page, you can make a Day In The Life page, you can make a home décor item or you can make a card. Whatever you feel to create just use the above mentioned items. You can see that in my page I used machine stitching, the wood is the wood veneer alphas (found in the “Scenic Route” add on kit), the stamp is the cute dog from June and the round are a couple of round stickers that appear here and there. And that, my friends, is how easy this challenge is! Lovely Lisa added the four components with ease too.
Wood veneer view finder, stitched lines, stamped arrows and lots of circles. Denise’s gorgeous page looks amazing.
See her addition of a stitched word, wood veneer view finders are great as the wood and circle elements and finally I just love how she used the checklist stamp. Nicole also played along with this challenge, she created this super amazing page.
Totally in awe of her stitching (she used a cool combo of machine and hand stitching). Love the wood look in the chipboard, pattern paper and clip. Did you see where she stamped?? Check out the enamel dots! See it now?! Very cool! The circle element also looks super fun. Thanks Nicole, Denise and Lisa for your awesome creations. So now we’d love to see yours. Get creating. Load your link here, in the comments of this blog post and you’ll have the chance of winning a $10 voucher at the Daisy Boutique. Entries close 10pm Tuesday 29th July and the winner will be announced on the 31st.
**WINNER IS… TerryB!! Congrats Lisa will be in touch regarding your prize. Thank you (and Ami) for entering.**
I love my July Day in the Life kit. Lots of inspiration that would work for this challenge 🙂
