Where I Play – Challenge

It’s time for the next challenge in the ‘Here I am’ series.

This months challenge is called ‘Where I Play’.

I think as an adult it’s really important to have ‘down’ time. If you work full time, if you are a SAHM, whatever you do, you need to take time out for yourself. What do you do?

The first thought is scrapbooking/cardmaking/art. Do you have a designated room for this?

Do you go to the gym or jog perhaps?

Do you like to garden?

Do you read?

Do you like to go out with girlfriends?

Whatever it is you do, please document it this month and come back and share with us.

I personally love spending time in my kitchen. I love buying pretty bowls and dishes, I love recipe books and cute aprons and I just love to cook, bake and make pretty things. It feels like an extention of my studio, my creativity.

I love how pretty this months kit is. It makes me so happy to play with. It’s fun to cut up, layer and add bits and pieces here and there.

Nicole has also played along with me on this challenge. Nicole has chosen to scrap about her creative space. She’s also used this month kit. I love how some of the Cocoa Daisy packaging appears on her LO.

We hope you feel inspired and join us with this months challenge. You have until  2nd October 11pm EST to play along. Please add a link to your gallery/blog here.

The mid month is ‘just for fun’. It’s here to inspire. Enjoy!!

I am seeing some reallllllyyyy pretty things on these two inspiring layouts. Can’t wait to get my CD goods this month. I just moved to a new house — well it is a very old house that has been gutted and redone. I love my scrapyard now!! Hmmmm — a little LO about it would be perfect!!
