Piradee here to share my “off the page” project using this month’s fun Boho Garden kits.  You’re going to love this kit, there’s tons of fun colors and embellishments; can’t wait to see what you guys create with them!  For my project, I was inspired by the title itself “Boho Garden” and decided to create my little garden.

I started by picking a few sheets of pattern papers from the various kits (this project is also a perfect way to use up all my little scraps).  This month I got the main kit Boho Garden, DITL, Daisy Chain and Rosehip. Then I went digging for this super old sizzix rosette die; it’s a great way and fast way to cut out lots of rosettes. You can also cut these out by hand, just free style it (start by cutting a wavy circle and then slowly cut a swirl within).

After running a few sheets of pattern papers through my sizzix machine, now it’s time to do the rolling…

Armed with a tweezers and lots of glue dots in hand, I started by rolling from the other tip/ring inwards. I also purposely didn’t roll it too tight as I prefer the rosettes a little more bloomed.

Once all the rosettes were grown/rolled; I started assembling my project. First I added a few splatter of black mist/ink followed by a cluster of rosettes, forming a heart shape. I also cut out some leaves from one of the pattern papers.

Then to complete the project, I added a few more embellishments along with a cute butterfly that I cut out from one of the pattern papers.  I’m not sure at the moment, exactly where I’m going to hang this yet. It’s between little sophia’s room and the above the couch.
