Off The Page-Gift Boxes

Hello Daisies!  Martha here sharing a quick and easy gift wrapping idea with you.  deccd1

I created these cute little pillow boxes using patterned paper and embellishments from December’s Monterey Bay kits.  I sized these so that a gift card (and maybe a little something extra!) would fit inside them but you could make them larger if you wanted.

I found a pillow box printable on Pinterest (when you search several should come up) and printed it directly on the back of the patterned paper I chose.  I then cut them out, scored them, and folded them up.  My 6 yo daughter even got in on the fun and made a few herself so when I tell you this is easy, it totally is!  Once I had my boxes created, I then started my favorite part…layering on the embellishments.  Cluster and layer them on just like you would on your layouts.  I created my cluster and then attached it to the box so this is really 2 gifts in one if you give it to a paper crafter as they can remove the cluster of embellishments and use it on a project!

These could be used for any occasion any time of year so I hope you are inspired to make a few gift boxes with one of your future kits.

It never occurred to me to print on the back of scrapbook paper. Duh? Great tip and thanks for a fun project for the next gift card gift!
