Lesson Two: Documenting

Welcome back! This lesson is probably one of my favorites because I love documenting. I’ve been a scrapbooker for years and just recently got into using my Traveler’s Notebook for documenting. I love the versatility the Daisy Dori offers me! I can use it for planning, documenting, goal setting and anything else I want. I really love using the blank pages to add photos or tickets to my planner.

To make is easy on myself I usually grab a journaling card, a few stickers, and a picture to document my memory. I also use an app called “PicFrame” to resize my photos. It makes it so easy to add two photos to a 4×6 picture. The 2×3 size fits perfectly in my DaisyDori! I print my pictures from home using my Canon Selphy, but you can just as easily order your 4×6 prints from your usual store.

When I document I just go with the flow! If that means turning my book on its side I do. There are no rules in being creative.

If I need more space I use the back and front covers! I love the artwork already in the DaisyDori, it acts as my background and means I can spend more time making my memories than actually documenting them.

Tips and Tricks

Try adding a few favorite pictures from the month to your planner.

Resize pictures using an app on your phone! My favorite is “PicFrame”

The most important thing is to get the memory down, don’t worry about it looking perfect!

I hope you enjoy this video all about documenting! You will get a peek into my past DaisyDori inserts and see how my documenting has evolved over the last year. Thank you for hanging out with me for this lesson! If you have any questions or comments leave them below or head over to the Facebook group so we can chat! I look forward to the next lesson!

Happy Planning

xoxo Tricia
