Have you been enjoying the sneaks and reveal of the November kits??
As usual, I am loving all the colour possibilities that the November kits bring.
Did you see the paper Piradee showcased yesterday??
It’s the “Checklists” paper from Echo Park, designed by Kaitlin Sheaffer.
When I saw the flipside of the checklists my heart smiled.
The pink/red is one of my all time favourites and I knew I just had to scrap something with it.
Not only did the colour jump out at me but also the text.
It is covered with white font which reads the days of the month and numbers up to 31.
Love me some text covered pattern paper!
So I clarified with Emily that I could use this side and it was all action stations!
The first thing I did was to paint a piece of the wood veneer (also found in the “Weathevane” kit)
I painted it with my favourite colour to team with this pink/red, lagoon blue.
Adding some ink splats, pencil scribbles and a handful of die cuts from the kits
I mounted the photo on a Day In The Life card, a glassine bag and a piece of the exclusive “Shorthand” paper.
So my tip for today??
Make sure you always look on the brightside of life
And always check out the flipside of pattern paper.
Love the paper and how you used it along with all the other ‘goodies’ in the Nov collection. I so need a scrapbookin’ fix soon — when my kit arrives!!!
