Hello Daisies!!! Hope you guys are loving the November Weathervane kits. I know I do.  I pretty much got everything; the main, Barn Door, Wind Chime and more DITL cards and honestly love love the gorgeous mix of colors and the tons of embellishments that are included in the various kits. For this month product spotlight/focus, we wanted to show off the checklist pattern paper that is included in the main kit.

For me that checklist pattern paper was the starting point for my layout. One of my weakness is journaling. I honestly don’t journal enough and when I do try, I end up with writer’s block. So making a list helped me get started and in this case I really wanted to capture how I felt when we took little Sophia on her first boat ride (I was much more scared that something would happen to her than she was of her new surroundings).

I also wanted to include the checklist in way that wouldn’t require me to adhere it onto the paper, so that I could always see the full list or add more details to it later. So I ended up layering the different pattern papers around it and adhering it a way that it created a little pocket, that I could just tuck the checklist into.
