It’s “Stamping Saturday” and we are celebrating a paper crafting staple and beloved item. Whether you are using the stamps in your memory keeping, journals, or planners, the Wisteria Lane Memory Keeping Stamp Sets
are bound to add embellishment to your designs. Stamps can transform into stickers or die cuts and can change their look with different colors or filled elements. Today, our Creative Team stamped their hearts out and share ways they love using stamps in their spreads.
utilizes stamps in several ways inside her planner.
I used the mini star and heart stamps to separate the weekend days on my weekly spread.
I used the lemon stamp to create some die cuts. I stamped the image using the yellow distress ink to get the structure on the lemon image. I then layered the leaves stamp onto the lemon image using the memento ink and then fussy cut it. On some lemons, I stamped cute faces using the stamp set from my stash.
I’m going to use the lemonade glass stamp for my hydrate tracker. I stamped it on sticker paper and coloured them in, using coloured pencils. I fussy cut each one of them and I will stick them one by one on my planner pages.
I love using the word stamps to fill in the blank space on my planner and journal spread. The fun way to use the word stamps is to stamp them on white paper or cardstock using two or more different colours of stamp inks and then fussy cut them. I love how the colours blend on those words.
shows us that a rainbow spread is always an option when stamps are involved.
I got super “stampy” in my memory planner this month. It was so fun layering stamps from the Wisteria Lane Memory Keeping Stamp Sets
and adding pops of color with Mildliners and colored pencils. I love how some fun shading can transform a stamp like the SUMMER outline versus SUMMER colored in.
To put the page together, I started by layering the “summer” stamps across the page. Once they were dry, I stamped the iced beverage and “summer stories”. After these were dry I colored in with Mildliner dots and colored pencils. Next, I drew journal lines with Mildiners in a rainbow scheme. I included the Wisteria Lane Memory Keeping Stamp Sets
at the top of the page. To fill in some white space, I used the scribbles stamp. The hearts were included as a delicate detail, with journaling to finish off the page.
Evy created a gorgeous photo border using stamps
You already know that I am a huge fan of stamps, I almost always use them simply with a black ink pad. Often they are the protagonists of my titles. I practically always stamp the date with the fantastic Cocoa Daisy date stamp from several seasons ago. This time they also frame my photo.
In fact, this time I used the stamps on the 3 sides of my photo for an embellishment effect and then stamped the date both on this page and on the left page.
