Hi Daisies! It’s me, Jody, sharing the base of a little mini album that I made using several bits and pieces from previous kits. One of the things I have found to be so fun is to pull coordinating papers or Day in the Life cards from previous Cocoa Daisy kits and combine them together to make one cute project. This project was one that just came together so easily by basically cutting papers down to size and using some other favorite things I have held onto for just the right moment. The result was this mini album which still has some work left to do as I am waiting on photos to be printed and then filled into the pages. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy seeing a mix of old and more recent kits.
My family recently took a day trip to Chicago and we had so much fun. I loved getting some custom flair from a designer friend of mine for this little album. I think it’s fun to mix patterns, transparencies, Day in the Life cards and some other fun elements like the acrylic viewfinder too. A simple hole punch and pin held this book together and it fits perfectly into a vellum bag that comes in the kits each month. Enjoy this peek inside my mini in progress!
I hope you have been inspired by this little look back and maybe you are even ready to dig into some of your kit leftovers to see how you can put a fresh new spin on the contents once again! Have fun scrapping your Cocoa Daisy kit stash! We look forward to seeing how you combine your kits, so feel free to post all your pages and projects in our new and improved gallery!
