Throwback Thursday – “Beach Babes”

What type of hoarder are you??
Specifically, what type of Cocoa Daisy hoarder are you??
Do you keep your kits together or dekit them with each new month??
I’m one of those who takes it all apart and adds everything to my stash.
I’m usually pretty good at remembering what came from a kit and, not quite always, can guess what month/year it came from.
So a “Throwback Thursday” challenge suits me to a tee!
Pulling out pieces that I like, speak to me ,I want to use up or just have laying around on my desk is usually how I scrap.
I made this page using a DITL card and pattern paper from the May ’16 kits.

You might notice the stamp?
That’s from June ’15.
The Thickers are from the “Brand New Day” kit (March 2016)
The vellum is from “Blue Ridge”, October 2014

The glitter covered wood shape is a throwback to April 2014’s “Hint of Sunshine” kit

The flair has me stumped but I think it’s from one of the Fruity April 2015 kits.
Who knew that pieces from kits, from across different months, years and seasons could come together to make a very summery layout with a photo from spring!

That is just one of the reasons I love Cocoa Daisy kits.
It all works, no matter how old or what kit it comes from!
Have a creative week

Nice to see you scrapping here again Sharmaine

I keep them together until I use some, then it gets dekitted, but I have combined kits that were similarly themed.

Team keep it together here! It’s helped me immensely to have ready and coordinated kits. Sometimes I add a bit of this and that from my stash that works with the theme. I have a box from a drawer where I have the kit I’m currently working with. Having two small ones time is of essence and easy access is key!

Love how this page came together! Yes, I do keep most of the kits together or combine ones that are similar in color palette. I do keep a flip container on my desk for dots, little embellies and flair though.
