I haven’t been creating much in my art journal lately and I really miss it. I decided to play with the September kit in my journal and I also tried filming the process. You can watch the video here. 

The finished page looks like this. I used some pieces of patterned paper from the kit. I added heat embossing to the gold thickers, using an older Cocoa Daisy stamp. I also added the bird die cut and the sequins from the kit.

The background was created using gesso, a stencil from Crafter’s Workshop, Distress Paint and Inktense Pencils.

“Vila” is Swedish and means to rest. To get some rest is so important, and oh so difficult.
