Hello crafty friends! It’s Kelli here. I am loving the July kit. When I saw the florals and light pink in the kit, I knew I wanted to make a page featuring me and my 2 sisters. When we all get together we will sometimes take a selfie. They tease me that because my arms are so long, I should always be the one to take it. Haha. I really do have noodle arms.
I’m going to share a few tips/tricks:
1. I am using the back side of the tag and banner. I love white and the main side didn’t match my layout, but the white looks lovely with it.
2. I love using staples to add ribbon onto a page. I made the edges of the ribbon angled with scissors, and simply folded them over and stapled them in place.
3- I tattered the edges of the paper with my fingernail. This adds more demension.
4- I printed my photo as black and white so that it would blend better with the paper and allow the pink and green to pop without having a “loud” photo steal the show.
Thanks for checking out the blog today! Have a wonderful day. I hope you get lots of time for memory keeping.
