Hello, friends!
The Simple Dori Traveler Notebook is the perfect place to capture what is happening in your life. Whether it is a favorite selfie, a “currently” list, or a moment soaking in the sunshine, you can guarantee to have these moments documented in a snap using this compact format. For this “Simple Dori Saturday”, our Creative Team shares how they are documenting the here and now.
Aimee’s “Currently” page is perfect inside her Peach Ridge Simple Dori.
Happy Simple Dori Saturday Daisies! It’s Aimee here today with a “currently” layout for August— of course using the new Peach Ridge Collection. It just so happens that I snapped this selfie on August 1st and I thought it would be fun to make a spread about three things going on in my life as we were entering a new month.
I chose to put my photo on the patterned side and thought the August wood veneer piece from the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit was the perfect embellishment for this particular page. I just love when I am able to use up my wood veneer pieces. Next, I included some fun die cuts from the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit for some added flair!
For the opposite side of the Peach Ridge Simple Dori, I selected a grid paper and used the Cocoa Daisy Alpha Stamp Set to stamp out “currently” at the top of the page in coordinating colors. Next, I adhered these cute numbered adhesive die cuts down the center. Underneath each, I just journaled about my three things.
I find that numbered journaling can really help get more stories told and can also be quite therapeutic as it requires you to really think about what is important or what is weighing on your mind in that particular moment. I love how this spread turned out and I also love journaling in my Simple Dori! I hope I inspired you today and happy crafting!
