Hi it’s Lisa along with my ‘One Little Word’ for 2018 ……SIMPLIFY

Is this something that you also do? Have a word for the year?

I really find that it helps me focus. I’ve been doing it for many years now and I really do feel that it works for me.

Here is my Layout that I’ve made to document my word.

I’ve decided to go photo free so that the emphasis really is on ‘the word’. You can watch this page being made and hear about me chatting more about my word in this video here.

I wanted the word to really stand out, so I printed it on clear vellum and then built and layered everything else up around it. The paint, the stencil, the journal cards, pocket and the embellishments. But the title took main stage.

These journal cards from the pocket kit were perfect for this page. I used the ‘inner thoughts’ card to journal why this word was chosen and then the ‘looking ahead’ to document what I need to action to actually make this word happen.

Then I used one of the kit glassine bags as a pocket behind and the tags from the kit to write down what I need to do and then I can also make note throughout the year. It’s going to be a progressive page.

I used the December free printable to embellish. Along with any leftover stickers that I still had.

I’m really pleased with this page and I’m excited to see how this word works for me. I NEED changes.
