A Fresh Week with Fresh Cut!

Hey, everyone! My name is Rachel and I am so happy to be sharing with you my planner setup and a “plan with me” using the beautiful March Fresh Cut Planner Kits. This month, I am using a B6 Daisy Dori booklet for my “on the go” (and always with me!) planner.

There are so many things to love about this month kits that it hard to know where to start! I think probably one of my favorite aspects of this month’s kits are all the lovely and uplifting sentiments. I know January is supposed to be the time we are working on fresh start, but I can honestly say that the long awaited spring is when I really feel ready to start anew. The artwork, illustrations and sentiments in the Fresh Cut Kits perfectly reflect my excitement to be in the month of March and ever closer to Spring and Summer.

My planner style is always evolving. Recently I have preferred simple dashboards for my inserts. This keeps the bulk down, especially in this single strap cover. But what I love about using these kits is the fact that I don’t have to do much in the first place; the papers are pretty enough as is!

Here is next week in my planner. At the beginning of the month, I stamped out the days of the week with the stamp from the Classified: Planner Edition Kit . When I am stamping something repetitive, I like to do all in one sitting. I also decided to use the sticker kit punch a few of the boxes stickers into hexagons. Sometimes, I want the decorate element of the box sticker but I don’t want to use to whole thing. By punching a smaller shape, I get the decorative element, without losing too much space on the page.

I am a pretty “team vertical” planner girl, so I like to always find ways to make a vertical layouts – even if that wasn’t the intended format! Remember, those lines are merely suggestions. As the sticker says “You do you” and I couldn’t agree more!

This week is my favorite! Why? Because it is my BIRTHDAY week! That said, does anyone else find special weeks like birthday weeks the hardest to decorate? I struggled a little, but then remembered I can dedicate a page (or two) in this insert to my birthday – it’s my birthday and I’ll plan how I want to (hee hee)!

Earlier in the month, I made a page marker with one of the dashboards from the Day Planner Dashboard Kit and a tab from the Day Planner Kit

As I was planning this week, I realized I wanted to have one the memo sheets in my week, too. Rather than doing a tip-in, I decided to washi tape it to the back of my page marker. That way, I can easily put the page mark out to write a quick note and slip it right back into my week.

I hope you enjoyed a look inside my planner! Make sure to check out my plan with me video on my YouTube channel, too. Hope you get to dig into your kits this weekend and have fun planning next week!
